The New Brighton Department of Public Safety has published a list of incidents that happened in the city from June 1-8. Here are some notable incidents:

St. Paul Church to Close its Doors

A weekly ritual of going to church is going to change for the members of one St. Paul parish.

St. John's Catholic Church will hold its final Sunday service on June 30.

It has served the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood for 127 years.

A shrinking congregation is among the reasons why the church is locking its doors. The building will be put up for sale.

Fundraiser Benefits Victims of Shoreview Shooting

A community came together to remember a life lost and two others injured in a Shoreview shooting.

Fifty-seven-year-old Nancy Sullivan was found shot to death in her home along with 65-year-old Johnny Simpson. Investigators are calling it a murder-suicide.

Two other people were shot, including Sullivan’s daughter, Katie Fay, and her boyfriend.

Missing St. Paul Woman Found Alive Near Park

A missing St. Paul woman who family members say has type-1 diabetes was found "unconscious, but alive" Thursday afternoon, according to Sara Prevost with the American Diabetes Association.

Edina Police tell KSTP Mari Ruddy was found near Highlands Park in the 5200 block of Don Caster Way at about 2:45 p.m. Thursday. She was found, slumped back, in her vehicle.

911 Transcripts Released from Fatal Lilydale Landslide

A 911 caller described the landslide that killed two fourth-graders in St. Paul as an “avalanche of sand.”

Transcripts from two calls were released Wednesday from the May 22 incident.

Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary Adds Green Space in St. Paul

A new nature sanctuary that's been in the works for decades is finally becoming a reality.

The Trout Brook Nature Sanctuary will add some green space to a mostly urban area near 35-E in St. Paul.

Right now, the 40 acre site at Maryland and Jackson includes an abandoned car lot and a railroad right of way.
