Ramsey County Youth Career Fair Highlights Gov't Positions

Ramsey County youth can learn more about county government careers at an upcoming jobs fair.

The Youth Career Fair, which is presented by the county and Saint Paul College, is open to Ramsey County residents ages 16-21. It will talk about possible government careers and how they can get started at Saint Paul College.

The event is hosted by the Shoreview City Council and Economic Development Commission. Attendees can mingle with other professionals and talk to city officials about business needs, city issues, and concerns.

Shoreview Councilmember Recognized with 'Women in Business' Award

A Shoreview Councilmember was recently honored with a Women in Business Award.

The award comes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and recognizes 50 women for their professional achievements, leadership, and contributions to the community.

Shoreview Councilmember Emy Johnson was among those honored. She works for Target Corp.

Mancini's Steakhouse to Open Booth at Minnesota State Fair

An iconic St. Paul steakhouse will soon have a new home.

Don't worry - the original Mancini's on West 7th St. isn't going anywhere. But the restaurant will open up a new booth at the Minnesota State Fair this summer.

Mancini's will take the place of the old Pizza Palace on Carnes Avenue, near the Giant Slide and Sweet Martha's Cookies.
